Duration and Shot List

Duration:

My sessions range from 20 to 90 minutes depending on the session chosen (mini, family, senior)

Shot List:

-Family Portrait (vertical and horizontal)

-Family Portrait with pet, if applicable (Yes, pups are welcome as long as the location allows for it and you bring a treat and a leash!)

-Individual of each child

-Siblings Together

-Siblings w/ Each Parent

What To Expect & Weather

I like to have fun with my sessions! They are laid back but also go quick and the kids often lead the show. I keep the pace moving pretty fast because I find that kids (and adults too) get worn out, so I like to make sure I get the shots we need and then we have time for candids and silly shots after.

Location

I shoot locally in Bend and in the Central Oregon area. Occasionally there is a travel fee for locations more than 20-30 min away. This fee is $25.

I also use White Aspen Creative, an indoor studio, for winter months or cold, cloudy days. There is an hourly booking fee applied for sessions there.

Shooting at your home is an option for newborn shoots and occasionally a family shoot.

Schedule

Schedule any time of the year that you like! I do prefer to shoot 60-90 min before sunset and a half hour after sunrise for the nicest light. If these times don't work with your children's schedule, let me know and we can figure something out.

Summer is late evenings with sunset, but warm nights and beautiful sunsets. Fall is lovely with cozy clothes, changing colors, and soft light but also the busiest time for family photography. Try to remember to book early.

Popular milestones for babies are newborn, 6 months (most babies sit closer to 7 months without assistance if you want to wait for a unassisted sitting photo), and the one year birthday!
